The purpose of a MMS administrative audit is to provide an objective, third-party assessment of administrative transactions, financial reporting, policies and procedures, and administrative functions relating to the financial concerns of the church or nonprofit organization.
While not designed to investigate or verify the absence or presence of fraudulent activity, it does seek to isolate policies and procedures that expose an organization to potential fraudulent activity.
The fee depends on size and scope of work, condition and accessibility of the data, and the location of the client. Fees begin at $3,600 plus travel costs.
