MMS has developed an industry specific product tailored especially for churches and not-for-profit organizations.
Purpose
The purpose of the “MMS Administrative Audit” is to provide an objective, independent (third-party) review and analysis of administrative/business functions relating to the financial dealings of the church.
It attempts to document, validate and improve financial procedures, as well as validate financial information being published. In the audit process, policies and procedures are reviewed and sample financial data is tested for accuracy.
While not designed to investigate or verify the absence or presence of fraudulent activity, it does seek to isolate policies and procedures that expose the church to potential fraudulent activity.
