Over the past six months we have been surveying and talking with churches about their web services needs. Through that research process, four concepts have become abundantly clear:
- Churches want high quality web-work at an affordable price (surprise!)
- Volunteers developing and running church web sites are great, but not sustainable
- What began as a good church website is now outdated
- The information on their site needs monthly, if not weekly, updates and they don’t have the time or the expertise to take care of it properly
As a result of the conclusions that our research revealed, and the fact that we aspire to become the Midwest’s premier church administrative resource center, we are pleased to announce the launching of our new web design, development and support service called “Web-Sense.”
For 18 years, we have offered affordable and effective administrative support services to our clients beginning with accounting and later expanding to include auditing, direct deposit, automated giving, donor record keeping, online services, consulting, training and now web services.
In today’s world, a web site is now considered essential in communicating to existing members and reaching out to potential new members. We not only believe in a strong web “presence,” we also believe the industry has quickly migrated to web “performance.” It’s not enough just to be present; you must now interact with the fast growing web community to be effective.
