Workshop IX:

Results Oriented Conflict Management

Locations and times to be announced...

"Conflict is inevitable, suffering is optional!"

Did Jesus ever have to deal with conflict with people, with leaders, with his closest friends and disciples? If He had to deal with it and He was without sin, what makes us think we can avoid it?

The truth is, conflict is inevitable and present in all areas of our daily lives. Whether we are at home, on our way to church, shopping for groceries or trying to lead a church committee forward, conflict is always just around the corner.

We spend countless hours and numerous strategies trying to avoid conflict, only to see our best efforts backfire as soon as something important arises that we all don't agree on. Worse yet is when you think everyone is in agreement, only to find out later that people are complaining and backbiting in the parking lot after the meeting.

The question is, if we can’t eliminate it, how can we deal with it more effectively? In this important workshop, you will learn:

  • What are the root causes of conflict?
  • What are the most common (and ineffective) methods of dealing with conflict?
  • What is your personal, deeply rooted style of dealing with conflict?
  • What does healthy conflict look like?
  • What are the benefits of healthy conflict?
  • How can we deal more effectively with personal conflict?
  • How can we deal more effectively with group conflict?
  • How can we lead others in more effective conflict resolution?

Because conflict is inevitable, we need to reduce suffering and increase effectiveness!

Let's turn this common negative problem into a productive ministry positive.

Each workshop includes a full color manual that provides practical, step by step solutions, forms to use and other practical aids.
